Red Sox front-office staff to vacate Fenway Park offices

The Red Sox have signed a five-year lease for 100,493 square feet on the top three floors of a 13-story Boylston Street office building steps from the ballpark, the Boston Globe reported Friday. The move consolidates staff from the Sox, Fenway Sports Group and Fenway Sports Management, now spread among offices at 4 Jersey St. and at 82 and 98 Brookline Ave. A team spokesperson called it "an interim office solution" that does not change plans for the proposed Lansdowne Street building or the broader Fenway Corners project; what happens to the vacated ballpark offices has not been determined.
