Just Salad to Replace Sweetgreen on Brookline Avenue in Fenway

New York-based chain Just Salad is taking over the former Sweetgreen space at 132 Brookline Avenue, according to a "coming soon" sign on the door noted as of Aug. 7. The exact date Sweetgreen closed the Fenway location is unclear; its departure was reported last week amid a broader wave of Sweetgreen closures as the company adjusts to slow sales and rising costs. Just Salad, founded in 2006, serves salads, soups, warm bowls, wraps and smoothies and runs a reusable bowl program; the Fenway store would be its latest Massachusetts location.
