56th Annual Chinatown August Moon Festival Fills Streets

The Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of New England's 56th annual August Moon Festival runs today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Chinatown. Lion dances, Chinese opera and Asian folk dance performances take the main stage at Phillips Square, at Harrison Avenue and Beach Street. Vendor tables set up along Chinatown's streets offer food, gifts and souvenirs at the free, family-friendly celebration of the mid-autumn harvest tradition.
