Red Sox win 8th straight with 13-inning walk-off vs. White Sox

Caleb Durbin's one-out RBI single in the 13th inning gave Boston a 12-11 win over the Chicago White Sox on Thursday night at Fenway Park, completing a second straight sweep. The four-hour, 23-minute game was Boston's longest in the pitch-clock era, and the Sox became the first team in MLB's modern era to score in five separate innings in the ninth or later. Boston is now 26-3 since July 3, a mark matched by only three other teams over any 29-game span in the past 70 years.
