MassDOT approves $78.7M Everett-Somerville river bridge

The MassDOT Board of Directors has approved a $78.7 million design-build contract to construct the Mystic River Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge linking Everett and Somerville. The bridge will cross the Mystic River between Draw Seven Park and Gateway Park, closing a key gap in the regional walking and biking network.
