Former Everett IT director charged with larceny

Kevin Dorgan, the former IT director for the city of Everett, pleaded not guilty to one count of larceny over $1,200. Prosecutors allege he used over $98,000 in city funds for personal Amazon purchases between 2020 and 2026. Dorgan was fired in March and is ordered to stay away from City Hall; his next court date is Oct. 22.
