Democratic primary debates set for Saturday at East Somerville Community School

The Somerville Democratic City Committee hosts three debates for open-seat state legislative primaries Saturday, Aug. 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the East Somerville Community School: the 34th Middlesex House race at 5 p.m., the 2nd Middlesex Senate race at 6 p.m., and the 27th Middlesex House race at 7 p.m. With no Republican, third-party, or unenrolled candidates in any of these districts, the Sept. 1 Democratic primary will decide the seats; registered Democrats and unenrolled voters may vote on or before that date. Attendance sign-up is through Mobilize, and district, sample ballot, and early voting details are at SomervilleMassDems.org/vote.
