Free Samba & Latin Dance Party Hits Centanni Park Tonight

The Multicultural Arts Center's free Summer Series continues tonight at 6 p.m. at Centanni Park, outside its building at 41 Second St., with Receita de Samba & Friends playing music rooted in Latin and Brazilian traditions. The event is outdoors and free, though the center is asking for donations of $25 or more, which come with a Summer Series tote bag at the event. If the weather turns, the party moves indoors to the theater; note that the indoor elevator is under maintenance and access requires a long walk. The park is a few blocks from the Green Line's Lechmere station, and the East Cambridge Parking Garage off Spring Street is open 24/7.
