Historical Commission to Discuss Demolitions of East Cambridge Homes

The Cambridge Historical Commission meets online tonight at 6 p.m. to hold demolition review hearings, including a substantial demolition of the 1847 house at 146 Spring St. and an amended request for full rather than partial demolition of the 1844 front house at 78 Thorndike St. Also on the agenda: demolition of an 1892 double house at 178-180 Elm St., preservation grants and significance determinations for FY27 historic preservation projects.
