MIT's Fab Lab celebrates 25 years with citywide FAB26 conference
MIT's Fab Lab, the digital fabrication laboratory that grew out of Neil Gershenfeld's course "How to Make (Almost) Anything," is turning 25 this week. The weeklong FAB26 conference is underway throughout Cambridge, showcasing innovations from Fab Labs worldwide, from rapid prototyping to aquaponic systems and shelter. Organizers plan to unveil a new Fab Hub at 325 Main Street in Kendall Square.
