Harvard Square IHOP Closes After Two Decades

The IHOP at 16 Eliot St. in Harvard Square has permanently closed after about two decades, franchisee Mark Justice confirmed. The location shut down in early July, with a sign posted outside announcing the closure. Justice did not share a reason but pointed customers to the chain's location at 1850 Soldiers Field Road in Brighton.
