Flaherty's Bid to Restore ShotSpotter Fails at City Council
The Cambridge City Council voted June 8 to reject Councillor Timothy Flaherty's order to rescind the earlier 5-2-2 vote directing removal of ShotSpotter gunshot-detection sensors within 90 days. The city's law department ruled the original May vote fully complied with the Surveillance Technology Ordinance.
