Cambridge targets three high-crash intersections
Cambridge’s Department of Transportation has launched a High Crash Locations program, starting with three intersections: Massachusetts Avenue at Albany Street, Massachusetts Avenue at Vassar Street, and Hampshire Street at Prospect Street. The program formalizes the city's safety review process, updated every two years, after seven traffic deaths in the last four years. It is part of Cambridge’s Vision Zero effort to eliminate fatal and serious-injury crashes.
