State Awards Funding to Build 162 Affordable Housing Units in Cambridge
Governor Maura Healey announced $278 million in state and federal financing and tax credits for housing across Massachusetts, and two 100% affordable Cambridge developments were among the 29 projects funded. The awards cover the Cambridge Housing Authority's 67-unit Corcoran Park project and Homeowners Rehab Inc.'s 95-unit Wendell Street project. City Manager Yi-An Huang said construction is expected to begin next year, delivering 162 new affordable homes for Cambridge families.
