Boston warns residents to avoid waters affected by sewage discharges
Boston health officials advised residents to avoid contact with affected waters for at least 48 hours after Sunday’s sewage overflows ended. An MWRA outfall at the Prison Point facility discharged from 8:31 a.m. to 3:42 p.m., creating a potential public health risk in the Inner Harbor.
