The Foodsmith closes after 11 years in Duxbury

The Foodsmith ended service September 30 after owners Laura Raposa and Steven Syre retired, closing the bakery-cafe at 17 Standish Street after 11 years. Raposa said the 70-hour work week had taken a toll; remaining gift-card balances could be refunded upon request through the closing date.
