Boston prepares for coastal storm through Sunday
Mayor Michelle Wu has issued a coastal storm warning for Boston from Friday through Sunday, with the worst conditions expected Friday evening into Saturday. The rare September nor'easter could bring two to four inches of rain, damaging winds, and coastal flooding, and the city has suspended after-hours permits for exterior work.
