Dorchester Families Report Late, Missing BPS Buses
Data obtained by Boston 25 News shows Boston school buses were on time for morning drop-off an average of 80% of the time during the first seven days of the school year, down from 83% during the same period last year. Carol Benjamin, who cares for three grandchildren attending three different district schools from their Dorchester home, says her 9-year-old granddaughter's 6:10 a.m. bus to the Horace Mann School for the Deaf is regularly late or sometimes does not show up.
