MBTA starts automated bus-lane camera enforcement Oct. 1
Starting October 1, the MBTA will use automated cameras to ticket vehicles parked in bus stops and dedicated bus lanes in Dorchester. The cameras photograph violating cars, and tickets are mailed to the owner. Fines start at $25 and can climb to $125 for repeat offenders.
