Nor'easter Brings Flooding, Wind and Storm Warnings to Boston Area

A rare September nor'easter has brought heavy rain, damaging winds and coastal flooding to the region, toppling a tree in Dorchester. Mayor Michelle Wu's coastal storm warning remains in effect through Sunday, and residents in waterfront and low-lying areas near Dorchester Bay are urged to stay indoors during peak tides and avoid unnecessary travel. Forecasters warned of wind gusts up to 60 mph, beach erosion and rough surf lasting through Monday.
