BMC Nurses Vote to Authorize Three-Day Strike
Nearly 90 percent of the 2,000 nurses at Boston Medical Center voted to authorize a three-day strike, union officials announced Friday. Nurses have been bargaining with management for more than six months over staffing and wages. A 10-day notice is required before any strike, and the next bargaining session is set for Sept. 25.
