Today is the last day to register for Sept. 1 primary

Saturday, Aug. 22 is the deadline to register to vote in the Sept. 1 State Primary: midnight for online registration, 5 p.m. for in person, and postmarked by today if mailing a form. City Hall at 93 Highland Ave. is open today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for in-person registration. Early voting also begins today in the lower level of City Hall and runs through Aug. 28.

The city will host a candlelight vigil and purple flag-planting outside City Hall on Thursday, Aug. 27, from 6-7 p.m., honoring 11 residents lost to opioid overdoses in 2025.
