West Nile Virus detected in Somerville mosquitoes

State Department of Public Health testing found West Nile Virus in mosquitoes collected in Somerville, city Health and Human Services reported. Somerville remains at a "Moderate" risk level, and no human or animal cases have been reported in Massachusetts so far this season. DPH recommends using insect repellent, covering up during peak mosquito hours, repairing screens and draining standing water around homes.
