Monthly household hazardous waste drop-off today

Somerville DPW holds its monthly household hazardous waste collection today from 9 a.m. to noon at the DPW yard, 1 Franey Road. Accepted materials include motor oil, aerosol paint, household cleaning chemicals and rechargeable batteries. The drop-offs are free and run the second Saturday of each month from April through November; details are at somervillema.gov/hazardouswaste.
