Climate tech incubators in Cambridge and Somerville awarded state grants

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center announced more than $1.3 million in Innovation Ecosystem Program grants on Sunday, August 2, to four Cambridge and Somerville climate technology incubators. Somerville's FORGE and Greentown Labs each received $120,000, with Greentown getting an additional $300,000 for its fellowship program; Cambridge-based Activate Global and The Engine also received $120,000 each, and Activate received a further $600,000. The four were among 10 organizations statewide awarded a total of $2 million by the state economic development agency.
