Overnight Paving Starts Tonight on Downtown Streets

DPW crews and D&R Paving begin overnight paving downtown Thursday, Oct. 1, working from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. and continuing Friday night into Saturday morning, weather permitting. Work starts on High Street, then moves to Conant, Maple and Elm streets. No-parking signs will be posted in active work areas, and the public downtown lots will remain open throughout the project.
