Danvers Church to Mark Pet Remembrance Month Starting Oct. 1

All Saints Episcopal Church of the North Shore will observe Companion Animal Remembrance Month from Oct. 1 through Oct. 31. The series of free public events on pet loss and the bonds people share with animals is organized by Perfect Paws Pet Ministry and is open to people of every faith and those who do not identify with one. The featured event, the 23rd annual North Shore Community Blessing of the Animals, runs Saturday, Oct. 3, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church across from Town Hall, led by the Rev. Ian J. Hamilton; children may bring stuffed animals, and paper prayer cards will be available for animals that cannot attend.
