Danvers Sewer Work Prompts Dayton Street Detour

Danvers Public Works will replace the Dayton Street sewer main starting Tuesday evening, Sept. 29. Crews will work overnight from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for three to four nights, weather dependent, with a detour in place and police details directing traffic; the town asks motorists to use caution and allow extra travel time. Spot sewer repairs on Longbow Road are scheduled for Monday, Sept. 28, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with minor traffic impacts and possible delays.
