West Nile Risk Raised to Moderate in Danvers; Health Officials Advise Caution

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health raised the West Nile virus risk level to moderate in Danvers. Health officials advise using insect repellent with DEET, wearing long sleeves and pants, and eliminating standing water to reduce mosquito breeding. People over age 50 are at higher risk for severe infection from WNV.
