Flood Watch in Effect for Concord Through Tuesday Morning

The National Weather Service has placed Concord under a flood watch through 2 a.m. Tuesday, citing continued showers and possible thunderstorms. Monday brings showers and patchy fog with an 80% chance of precipitation, a high near 59, northeast gusts up to 22 mph and a quarter to half an inch of new rain possible, with more possible in thunderstorms. Showers continue Monday night, and the forecast improves to partly sunny skies Wednesday.
