Woods Hill Table Closes Amid Salmonella Investigation

Public Health Director Melanie Dineen said the West Concord restaurant closed Sept. 16 and had not reopened as of Sept. 17, when 10 illnesses — including both employees and customers — had been reported in the cluster. State epidemiologists contacted all affected patrons individually, and Dineen wrote that "there is currently no ongoing risk to the general public." Owner Kristin Canty said the farm-to-table restaurant on Commonwealth Avenue is cooperating with state authorities, and Dineen said an initial inspection showed no priority violations.
