MBTA Bus Cameras Begin Catching Bus Lane Violators Oct. 1

Starting Thursday, Oct. 1, MBTA bus-mounted cameras will capture vehicles parked in bus stops or parked or standing in bus lanes, and violators will receive educational advisory notices. Fines take effect Jan. 1, 2027, under a program authorized by a January 2025 change in state law.
