Boston Braces for Nor'easter, Postpones Zero Waste Drop-Off to Nov. 21
Mayor Michelle Wu issued a coastal storm warning for Boston from Friday, Sept. 25, through Sunday, Sept. 27, with the peak expected Friday evening into Saturday. The forecast calls for two to four inches of rain, high damaging winds, coastal flooding and erosion, and ponding on roadways, and residents are urged to stay indoors during the peak. The city also postponed its Sept. 26 Zero Waste Drop-Off Day to Nov. 21, and residents can sign up for AlertBoston updates in 11 languages by phone, text or email.

Green Line Resumes After Derailment; Signal Work Closure Starts Saturday
