MBTA Suspends Orange Line Between Forest Hills and Back Bay

Orange Line service is suspended between Forest Hills and Back Bay for five consecutive days, September 10 through 14, the MBTA said in a reminder posted Tuesday. Crews will make concrete repairs at Ruggles Station platforms, along stair walls and at the Ruggles Street Bridge as part of the Ruggles Station Improvements Project. The shutdown also allows piggybacked work, including platform and electrical upgrades at Jackson Square, signal modernization between Forest Hills and Roxbury Crossing, and staircase repairs at Green Street.
