Early Voting Underway for Sept. 1 State Primary

Early voting for the Sept. 1 State Primary runs at sites across Boston through Friday, Aug. 28, with additional neighborhood locations open today, Aug. 23, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The primary determines which candidates appear on the ballot for the State Election on Tuesday, Nov. 3; the voter registration deadline was Saturday, Aug. 22. The Election Department is also still recruiting poll workers, who receive a stipend of $160 to $200 plus pay for required training.
