Boston Issues Heat Advisory Thursday Through Saturday

The City of Boston has issued a heat advisory from Thursday, Aug. 6 through Saturday, Aug. 8, with temperatures expected to range from 95 to 98 degrees and heat indices peaking in that range with little relief overnight. Officials note Boston EMS typically sees a 10-15% increase in 911 calls during a heat wave, and urge residents to stay hydrated, limit time outdoors during the hottest hours and check on neighbors.
