Feast and Carnival Street Closures Continue Through Sunday
Street closures, detours and parking restrictions around Central Square and University Park run through Sunday, Sept. 13 for the Feast of Saints Cosmas and Damian and Cambridge Carnival International. Feast closures include Macarelli Way, plus Warren, Porter and Jefferson streets, with Cambridge Street in front of 716 Cambridge Street closed from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday for a parade stop; processions and a parade also travel East Cambridge streets. The city asks residents, businesses and visitors to follow posted detour and parking signage and consider alternate routes or modes of travel.
