Wada Hoppah Electric Ferry to Dock at Cambridgeport Stops
The Wada Hoppah, an electric ferry launched by Newton-based founder Drew Rollert, will dock at nine locations along the Charles River, from Watertown Square to Cambridgeport, the Hatch Shell and TD Garden. Trips will cost between $10 and $20, and the boat runs on two all-electric motors — the equivalent of a 35-horsepower diesel — with no wake, fumes or smell. Rollert said he hopes to add stops at Arsenal Yard, Fenway and Harvard Square in the future.
