Cambridge City Council Meets Monday, Aug. 3

The City Council holds its "Midsummer" meeting Monday, Aug. 3. On the Manager's Agenda is a response to policy order AR26-35, in which the City Manager was asked to review state bills and a previously filed home rule petition and prepare a new one that would let Cambridge install and operate cameras enforcing red light, speeding, and other moving violations. Also on the agenda: the Police Review & Advisory Board's quarterly report for the second quarter of 2026 and a communication from City Manager Yi-An Huang with a federal update, including relevant court cases.
