Town Meeting approves ADU, zoning changes; two articles go to January

At its one-night Sept. 28 session, attended by 103 of 126 members, Town Meeting passed 11 of the 15 articles requiring a vote. Approved measures include accessory dwelling unit updates, zoning-enforcement powers, front setback relief, a Middlesex Turnpike rezoning and sewer improvements. Two articles were withdrawn, and two, the 'structure' definition and animal use rules, were postponed to January; the 2027 town election was set for April 3, and no new tax dollars were appropriated.
