Transportation Board Approves Chestnut Hill Avenue Redesign
The Transportation Board voted unanimously on Sept. 19 to approve a major redesign of Chestnut Hill Avenue, the connector between Cleveland Circle and Route 9. The plan adds a two-way protected bike lane, 65 formalized parallel parking spaces, new crosswalks and other pedestrian-safety upgrades. Construction could begin in spring 2027, pending any appeal to the Select Board.
