Green Line Shutdowns Will Affect C, D and E Branch Riders

The MBTA will suspend Green Line B branch service the weekend of Sept. 19-20 and again for nine days from Sept. 26 through Oct. 4 for accessibility upgrades and signal modernization in the central tunnel. Service will also be suspended on the C branch between Government Center and Kenmore, the D branch between North Station and Kenmore, and the E branch between Heath Street and North Station. Free, accessible shuttle buses will run between Babcock Street and Back Bay during both shutdowns.
