Braintree Issues Storm Advisory Ahead of Weekend Nor'easter

The Town of Braintree has issued a coastal storm advisory as a nor'easter brings heavy rain, winds up to 60 mph and coastal flooding, with the strongest impacts expected Friday night through Saturday and the National Weather Service warning in effect through Sunday. Residents are urged to secure outdoor furniture and trash barrels, clear storm drains, charge devices, avoid unnecessary travel and stay away from flooded roadways. Power outages or downed wires can be reported to BELD at 781-348-BELD (2353), and non-emergency police matters to 781-843-1212.
