Shellfish areas reopen in Bourne and Sandwich

The Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries announced Thursday that shellfish areas CCB35 through CCB38 in Bourne and Sandwich will reopen to shellfishing at sunrise Friday. They were precautionarily closed Sept. 25 because of heavy rain.

More Buzzards Bay shellfish beds reopen Friday

State officials announced Thursday that areas BB37, BB38-39, BB43-44 and BB49-50 in the Bourne, Wareham and Falmouth area would reopen at sunrise Friday.

Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride passes through Bourne Sunday
