Police chief addresses Billerica's Flock camera use

In a September 29 statement, Police Chief Roy Frost said access to the department's Flock license plate readers is limited to designated supervisors and detectives, with logging and audits. He said the data is not shared with federal agencies and unrelated images are deleted within seven days. The department bought six cameras with grant funding in 2024 and added three more in early 2026.
