104-Year-Old Beverly Resident Receives Brother's WWII Dog Tags

On Sept. 27, Beverly veterans officials presented 104-year-old Dottie Stewart with the recovered U.S. Navy dog tags of her brother, Bernard Parnell. Parnell died in a 1943 plane crash during World War II, 83 years before the tags reached his sister. "This is such a shock to me," Stewart said.
