Historic Beverly Retraces Shoebert the Seal's 2022 Journey

Historic Beverly leads a new walking tour tonight from 6 to 7 p.m., retracing the route the seal took from Shoe Pond at the Cummings Center to the Beverly Police Station in the summer of 2022. Guides will follow the historic Planter's Path, using Shoebert's adventure as a way into the colonial history, changing neighborhoods and local stories along the corridor. Tickets are $5 to $10; the tour map is courtesy of Cummings Center, with original Shoebert artwork by Michael Coles.
