Beverly Police Warn of Car Break-In Rash After 17 Vehicles Hit

Beverly police say 17 vehicle break-ins were reported during a single 24-hour period late last week, heading into the holiday weekend. Officers are urging residents to lock their cars, remove valuables left in plain sight overnight, and review home security camera footage for suspicious activity. Anyone who believes they were a victim, or who sees something suspicious, is asked to call Beverly police at 978-922-1212, or 9-1-1 in an emergency.
