Voter Registration Deadline Today for the State Primary

Residents have until 5 p.m. today, Saturday, Aug. 22, to register to vote or update a registration — name, address or party — ahead of the Sept. 1 state primary. Changes can be requested through the Secretary of the Commonwealth's online form. Any requests received after the deadline will not be processed until after the election is certified. Polls on Sept. 1 are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. across Belmont's eight precincts.
