Town and Schools Schedule Forum Following Teacher Arrest

Belmont Public Schools will host a hybrid community forum Monday, August 3, at 4 p.m. in the Town Hall Auditorium, following the arrest of a Belmont Middle School teacher on child sexual abuse material charges. District leaders and Belmont Police representatives are expected to answer questions and share any additional information available, with a virtual option for residents who want to take part remotely. "The safety and well-being of our students will always remain our highest priority," Superintendent Jill Geiser said, adding that the district does not yet have a complete understanding of the matter but will continue to share what it can.
